Maths “Wizardry” Solved
So this morning I got an e-mail from my good friend Sagretezza saying:

It’s just simple numeric properties again, subtract the sum of the composite decimals from it’s total and you will get a rounded down division by 9.
10 - 1 = 9
11 - 2 = 9
12 - 3 = 9
13 - 4 = 9
14 - 5 = 9
15 - 6 = 9
16 - 7 = 9
17 - 8 = 9
18 - 9 = 9
19 -10 = 9 (Hopefully by now you can see the sequence, so I’ll list the ones that will be the same symbol).
20 - 2 = 18
…
30 - 3 = 27
…
40 - 4 = 36
…
50 - 5 = 45
…
60 - 6 = 54
…
70 - 7 = 63
…
80 - 8 = 72
…
90 - 9 = 81
…
99 -18 = 81
Finally, you will notice that all of these numbers bear the same symbol for an individual game.
